Samo also shot the hit song’s music video “Malaks Daawa Biya” yet to be aired on Mazzika channels exclusively later this week.

We have all been waiting for Nadine Labaki’s comeback, but the critically acclaimed director’s new music video for Nancy Ajram’s song “Hagat Tethass” came disappointing. The MV itself is excellent as most of Labaki’s previous works, but it didn’t fulfill the audience expectations craving to see something new coming from a director that use to shock them with every project she made especially after five years of hiatus; it was just another Labaki MV having the same contextual style and picture.

For better or worse, the good news is that Nadine Labaki finally came back and luckily she’s not over yet. The successful female director other than shooting her new film due to be released in Summer 2011, is currently holding several other music video projects each for Majida El Roumi and Nawal Al Zoghbi, that might be considered (hopefully) as a real comeback.

Saba will also mark her first collaboration with the director Yaser Sami in shooting the song’s MV.

Noting, the song itself is “Maksoum” style, considered very new an awkward for a singer who’s been known with her dancing or up-beat songs.
